Engineering with context.Software with purpose.

I'm Lucas Feitosa. I connect architecture, interfaces and services to turn complex problems into clear, reliable and useful products.

Currently at BRQ · GOL & SmilesFrom the first requirement to life in production.

01 / Selected work

From an idea to something that works.

Products, decisions and experiments that show how I think and build software.

Production software

Smiles & GOL

Mobile engineering for products that are part of the journey of travelling. Interfaces, native integrations and services that need to evolve together.

  • React Native
  • Swift & Kotlin
  • Node.js · AWS
Context and contribution

The context

Loyalty and airline apps with evolving codebases and integrations across multiple layers.

My contribution

At BRQ, I develop mobile apps and web channels. On Smiles, I led the React Native migration from 0.6x through 0.8x and work on native modules, BFF services, observability and production support.

Personal project · Interfaces

One system, two platforms.

A design system connecting web and mobile through a shared language, while respecting what makes each platform different.

  • React
  • React Native
  • Design tokens
Context and contribution

The context

Sharing design decisions without coupling web and native renderers.

My contribution

I organized tokens, contracts and components into four packages. The core shares logic and contracts; React and React Native implement their own interfaces. This website uses the web version of that system.

Personal project · AI & creation

Content Factory

An idea moves through research, script, voice, image and editing. A creative laboratory powered by AI and human editorial decisions.

  • Local LLMs
  • Python
  • Remotion
Context and contribution

The context

Building a reproducible editorial pipeline with explicit artifacts and review between stages.

My contribution

I connect a Mac to a compute workstation over Tailscale. Local models help write and generate media; validation, human review and editorial approval guide what reaches production.

02 / About

Understand first. Build all the way through.

I like to understand the problem before choosing the tool. My work spans mobile, web, services and cloud, connecting architecture decisions to the details of the user experience.

I have seven years of production experience, currently at BRQ working with GOL and Smiles. I also build my own tools and explore local models, agents and automation to make engineering workflows clearer and more reproducible.

Context before tools

Understanding the problem and its constraints gives direction to architecture and product decisions.

Quality throughout

Implementation, testing, delivery and observability are part of the same responsibility.

Curiosity with judgment

Exploring AI and automation with human review, context and attention to what actually improves the work.

03 / Experience

Perspective comes from the journey.

From connected devices to digital products and AI-assisted engineering.

04 / Laboratory

Curiosity put into practice.

A place to test ideas and turn learning into tools.

Specification-driven development

In sdd-base, process, context, decisions and evidence live in the repository to guide work across different agents.

AI under observation

Experiments with local models and agent observability: understanding what happened is part of trusting the result.

05 / Travels

Places that broaden perspective.

Travel changes the scale of the questions. Different places, rhythms and cultures bring new references to life — and to the way we create.

Perspectives I carry with me

A space for stories and lessons about movement, culture and experiences beyond the everyday.

06 / Beyond code

Curiosity in motion.

I like asking questions, connecting ideas and learning by building. Sometimes that becomes software. Other times, a conversation or a new way of looking at a place.

Continue the conversation

Exploring places

New landscapes and different ways of living change the references we carry.

Making things of my own

Personal projects are a space to try ideas and discover what is worth pursuing.

Learning and exchanging ideas

Good questions and conversations open paths to the next thing to learn.

07 / Let's talk

A good conversation could be the beginning.
